Our first vintage recreation is now finished! Yay! After hours unpicking, cutting and sewing it's so great to see it on the mannequin. When we started this frumpy dumpty dress was oversized with a drop waist and baggy long sleeves. Now it is a fun sassy party frock!
The sleeves & bodice have been slimmed down and shortened. The full skirt has been curved and is shortened at the front. The sash and skirt reattached at the waist to create a more flattering line. This dress is now in store and we are starting on the next. Stay tuned..
